Asynchronous Course Development

Boldschoolers, an education company, needed an asynchronous course to help parents understand and implement the latest research around learning and student success. I worked with a SME to design and develop the forward-facing product based on the 6-module course.  Find more information at Boldschoolers.com.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities included instructional design, action mapping, visual and graphic design, and storyboarding.

The
Problem

This company recognizes the inadequacies of the current education system. Families need an accessible, accurate way to boost their children's education by tapping into the latest research on biology and the brain.

The
Solution

Our goal was to design a course compiling research, tools, and activities to guide parents as they shape their child's educational experience.  By combining a comprehensive course with a detailed action guide, families can easily implement what they learn.

The Process

A transparent process increases communication with the team and lends itself to fluid, immediate changes.
This is the process I used to create slide decks accompanying a speaker for an asynchronous course video.
